The Istorik Art Gallery, inaugurated in March 2023 by the artist Aleksandra Istorik, is located at number 1 Almirante Street, in the heart of Valencia’s historic center. This space houses contemporary art works and offers a platform for a wide range of artists, including painters, sculptors, draftsmen, illustrators, and graffiti artists.
In addition to its role as an art gallery, the venue is notable for the remains of a medieval palace preserved inside the building, providing a tangible connection to the city’s rich history.

Aleksandra Istorik is a contemporary artist born in Saint Petersburg in 2000. She comes from a family with a strong artistic tradition; her grandfather was the renowned Russian film producer Konstantin Ryzhov.
From an early age, Aleksandra showed a strong inclination toward art, influenced by her family environment. She studied at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Universitat Politècnica de València and at the Academy of Arts in Saint Petersburg.
At the age of 21, she founded the Istorik Art Gallery in Valencia’s historic center. This space not only showcases her own work but also promotes the creations of other artists, including painters, sculptors, draftsmen, illustrators, and graffiti artists.
Aleksandra’s artistic style, known as “Golden Surrealism,” is characterized by the exploration of paradoxical realities and the preservation of human essence. Her work blends everyday elements with surreal aspects, inviting reflection on life’s decisions and alternative paths.
Throughout her career, she has participated in international exhibitions and art fairs in cities such as New York, Madrid, Paris, Karlsruhe, Saint Petersburg, and Monaco.
